Privacy Policy: What This Website Collects and What Happens at Checkout

Quick answer

As built, this website sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers and asks for no account. The tools on the pages run in your browser and send nothing to us. When you write to us we keep the message to answer it. Payment and shipping details are handled by the retailer at checkout, under its own policy.

In short01

The plain-language summary

We want to know as little about you as possible. This site is a set of reading pages, and reading does not need your name.

  • No account, sign-in or newsletter is required to read any page.
  • The planner, symptom score, fit check and iodine calculator run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.
  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • Orders are placed on the retailer's checkout, which has its own privacy policy that applies there.
  • If you write to us, we use your message to reply and to correct our pages.

This policy covers the website only. It does not cover the seller, the retailer, your bank or any site we link to, each of which has its own rules.

What we collect02

Information, by source

What is collected, where, and what it is used for.
SourceWhat may be collectedUsed for
Reading the siteBasic technical data any web server records, such as the page requested and a timestampKeeping the site running and spotting faults
The on-page toolsNothing is sent to us; entries stay in your browser until you close or reload the pageShowing your result to you
Writing to the website inboxYour email address, your message and any details you choose to includeReplying and correcting pages
Calling the sellerHandled by the seller under its own policyTracking and refunds on placed orders
Clicking the order buttonYou leave this site; the retailer then collects what it needs to process the orderPayment, shipping and returns

Hosting providers keep standard server logs, which may include an IP address and browser type for a limited period. We do not combine those logs with other data to identify visitors. If the hosting arrangement for this site changes in a way that affects what is logged, this policy will be updated and dated.

At checkout03

What happens when you leave to order

The order button takes you to the retailer's secure checkout. From that moment the retailer, not this desk, collects your name, delivery address, email, phone number and payment details, and it decides how they are stored and shared. We do not see your card number, and we are not told the contents of your order unless you tell us.

Because the checkout is a separate site, read its privacy policy before you enter details. The FTC advises checking who you are dealing with before sharing payment information online (FTC, Evaluate Online Reviews). If you are unsure whether a page is the real checkout, return here and use the link again, rather than clicking a link in a message.

Health information

Please do not type diagnoses, medicines or test results into a message to us. The website inbox is not a secure place for health records, and we cannot give medical advice.

On-page tools04

Why the tools do not need your data

The pack planner, the fit check, the symptom score, the iodine ceiling calculator and the hard-water chart are small scripts that run inside your browser. They read what you pick, work out a result on your device and show it to you. Nothing is posted to a server, and nothing is written to your device for later, so closing the tab clears it.

We built them this way on purpose. A symptom score or a medicine question is personal, and you should be able to use a tool without wondering who sees the answer. The same reason is behind our advice not to email health details: if we never receive it, we cannot lose it.

If you use a browser extension, a work network or a shared device, those may record your visit independently of us. For anything sensitive, use a private window on a device you trust.

How long we keep things05

Retention in plain terms

Messages to the website inbox are kept only as long as needed to answer them and to record a correction, and then deleted in normal housekeeping. Where a message leads to a change in a page, the change is logged without your name. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for its standard period, which we do not control beyond choosing the provider.

We do not build profiles, score visitors or run advertising audiences. We do not share message content with the seller unless you ask us to pass a complaint along, and in that case we will tell you what we sent.

Your choices06

How to ask about, correct or remove your information

  1. Ask what we hold

Write to the website inbox from the address you used before and say what you want to know. We will tell you what, if anything, we keep.

  2. Ask us to delete it

Tell us which message to delete. We will remove it unless we need to keep it for a legal reason, and we will say so.

  3. Ask the retailer

For anything about an order, including your address and payment details, contact the retailer or the seller's phone line from the contact page.

  4. Opt out of messages

We send no marketing messages. If you receive one claiming to be from us, do not reply and tell us.

Residents of some states have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honour reasonable requests whatever your state, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Other points07

Children, links, security and changes

Children. This site is written for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. A supplement for prostate and urinary comfort is not meant for children at all.

Links. Pages link to public sources such as the NIH, FDA and FTC. Those sites run under their own policies, and following a link means you leave this one.

Security. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so avoid sending sensitive details by email.

Changes. If we change what we collect, we will update the policy and its date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

  1. How To Evaluate Online Reviews. Federal Trade Commission (Consumer Advice), 2026.The FTC advises considering the source, comparing reviews across several sites, being wary of sudden bursts of reviews, and checking reviewer history. Fake reviews can look genuine.
  2. Using Dietary Supplements Wisely. National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NIH), 2019.The FDA is not authorized to review dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness before they are sold. Supplements can interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines and can be risky with some conditions. Tell all your health care providers about every supplement you use.
  3. Dietary Supplements: What You Need to Know. NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, 2023.Unlike medicines, supplements do not require FDA approval before they are marketed. FDA periodically inspects facilities that make supplements. You are most likely to have side effects at high doses. Some supplements interact with medicines.
